Suspect of Trump Attempted Assassination
The
news from Fox San Diego about the suspect says that the FBI has confirmed that
Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old man from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, was
the attempted assassin at President Donald Trump's rally. Crooks was shot and
killed by the Secret Service seconds later. The attack is the most serious
attempt to assassinate a president or presidential candidate since Ronald
Reagan was shot in 1981 which is very alarming. The former president, according
to Trump campaign officials, is "fine." Crooks is registered
Republican but donated $15 to a progressive PAC the day President Joe Biden was
sworn in. The Secret Service reported that one rally attendee was killed and
two were critically injured. It's very sad that there are all three adult male
victims in this assassination.
